My WM thoughts......
Finlay/JBL......when Finlay flew through the ropes and missed JBL completely....you heard a loud "thud" and I thought Finlay was out.....the match was alright. I think it was a good opening match.
Money in the bank was fucking awesome. I don't care who you are, and I don't care how real or fake wrestling is, you have to admit that those guys had to walk away from that match in A LOT of pain. Shelton Benjamin falling and landing on the ladder was INSANE. Great great match, but I really wanted to see Kennedy win it so he could beat Undertaker after Undertaker beat Edge.....oh well. As for Punk, I have a feeling he'll go after the ECW title, trying to get it back. Punk is the face of ECW. If he leaves ECW, they're cooked. While I think CM Punk deserves a good push, I think he is needed much more on ECW/Smackdown.
Kane/Chavo......poor Chavo. The only way this will be awesome is if Kane turns heel, and kicks the shit out of everyone....then, let Punk come in to "save" ECW. Super heel vs. super face.....ECW needs something good. I have a feeling though that Kane will face Big Daddy V and Mike Knox for a while......I don't see much good happening here.
Batista/Umaga: Lame match. Did not care who won to be honest....the match itself lacked a lot.
Bunnymania: I was surprised the heels won.....still, the match sucked....but the divas are fun to look at.
Big Show/Mayweather: Good fucking match. Incredible? No, but they did a great job together. I actually enjoyed the match.
HHH/Cena/Orton: I loved it. I wanted HHH to win.....but, seeing Orton win, like the typical heel, was awesome as well. I give the WWE credit for trying to make Orton look like a solid champion. They're doing it......smart move.
Undertaker/Edge: I wanted Edge to win it, but I figured Undertaker would win....the match was pretty good. I liked the back and forth bit they did....Undertaker wins, which was cool. Good show. Honestly, I'll be happy to see Undertaker retire. He's had a good career, but it's time for him to hang up the boots and let someone else take over. I won't be surprised to see him go to Raw at the next draft. I'm sure he'd like to be back on live TV......Undertaker vs. Cena, Undertaker vs. HHH, Undertaker vs. HBK....all matches that would own.
HBK/Flair: WOW! The match was awesome. The funny thing is, Flair is old, he doesn't move like he used to, but being in there with HBK, made Flair look like a God! Flair looked awesome. Both men, back and forth....it was awesome. The first sweet chin music, I thought was going to snap Flairs neck......INSANE! The ending was awesome, and I loved how HBK got out of the ring immediately and left. He left the end for Flair, and he should of. It was Flairs night, and HBK let him enjoy it. Very awesome WM moment. One of my favorites. It ranks up there with Eddie and Benoit to be honest....
As for the whole show, I'm glad I watched it. I think it was solid. What I loved about this years WM was that they had me on the edge of my seat through a lot of the matches......Money in the bank, HBK/Flair, Triple Threat, Big Show/Money, Undertaker/Edge....all had me on the edge of my seat....not sure who was going to win.......sure, you had a thought of who would win....but during the matches, I actually thought it might go the other way....it was pretty badass! Good stuff all in all!
