I agree, throw the books at them.
This is a day in age that you can no longer try to blame shit on a cartoon. That's a fucking cop out. Blame the parents right? Fact of the matter is they obviously knew what they were doing.
Did they want to hurt the teacher? I think that's a stupid question. They wanted someone to cover the windows, and then wanted another one to clean up.
Why? Cover the windows perhaps so no one can see in.
Clean up because there is blood everywhere from KILLING her. I guess he was also in charge of bringing the Tricycle to drag her dead body out with.
I can't imagine how they planned on getting her into the dumpster. Standing on chairs maybe?
Expulsion is the only answer....then let the law deal with them.
Expell them for the rest of this year and ALL of next year. Let the parents lock them in teh basement. Then when they are 12, put them in a Juvi home....then in Prison when they are of age.

I find it a little hard to jump to conclusions based on this article...
It COULD be that it was a serious murder attempt... or it could be the work of an over-active imagination. I can't imagine any sane 3rd grader plotting murder because he was scolded for standing on a chair.
Either way, the parents need to take some blame... make sure their kids watch entertainment appropriate for their age.
While I am a bit disturbed by this article, I have to admit, it's fascinating as hell...

It's really sort of amazing that a group of third graders could form a plan like this.
I'm not saying it's a good thing, but something that definitely makes me go "wow".

Maybe one of the kids mom planned it.
yeah, the teather was sleeping with the kids dad and was ruining the marriage. Te mom planted the idea and told her how to do it and where to get all the other kids....
It's a fucking conspiracy to ruin our youth even more

I think the situation is crazy. How 3rd graders can come up with a plan like that is beyond me. I can't even try to understand it. If it wasn't on the news all over the place, I would think it was fake. How do third graders know what they are doing? My daughter is in 3rd grade and while shes very smart, she could never come up with a plan like that.....and like I said, she's a really smart kid....way ahead of the other kids in her class.....I just can't imagine her being able to come up with a plan to murder her teacher....makes no sense.....as for their punishment.....I'm not sure what they should do to them. They're in 3rd grade. They're 8 or 9yrs old......how do you put them away? It's a very touchy situation. As Matt said, it's interresting for sure....and as the Assman said, makes me go "wow".....It's definitely a story I'll keep up on.

a 12 yr old can be taken to juvi court for sex but a 9yr old can't for murder?!
This world is uber depressing.
And, like I said, it's the parents.... Kids are genious but, I dunno about as genious as murder..
But, you ahve to remember to though Timmy, you are obviously raising your girl in a good way.
