Day of Silence for the Gay and Straight Alliance


,...I knew there was something else I wanted to ask, but forgot what it was.

Next week my brothers told me that on Friday they need to be quiet the entire day of school as a way to show respect for their fellow gay students who feel as if they should never say anything about their homosexuality.



Yeah thats great and all. Good idea. But it's a public school. How are they going to enforce it? How can COULD they, without infringing on students freedom of speech?

And people should be silent. Gay people have it hard by not being able to voice their sexuality to those who probably don't care about it. They're classy unlike people of color who show their differences and earn the ire of whites for it.

The gay movement is sure to go down as one of the most selfish and thoughtless movements ever. Why other minorities haven't ripped them asunder for stealing their thunder, I'll never know.

My wife took part of that when she was in.....high school? maybe college. I don't know.

She had gay friends and supported them....

I hate them all.....but they have rights too...and I deal with it and live with it. I will peacfully live in a world with them but...I don't like it much

I am not sure what rights they are being denied. I am tired of people thinking that just because some people dislike you, your rights are being violated.

As long as they are not kicking your ass at the drop of a hat? And then the cops aren't doing anything about it? You have plenty of rights and equalities.
