I'm a non-conservative and I say to hell with "liberal guilt." That's like "white guilt." What the hell do I have to feel guilty about? I never kept any slaves, and the only black person I ever whipped I did so because she liked it.

The whole concept of "liberal/white guilt" is a fallacy, and is more divisive than just about anything a hard-line conservative could muster. It is basically encouraging differential treatment for people according to racial/class groups. I thought we were trying to tune that attitude out... however, it would appear said divides are becoming more pronounced, in a subtle manner.

Liberals dislike the fact that conservatives aren't as bothered by the fact that a small elite run things. Liberals want to be that small elite (one of their hypocrisies much like their views on the races and the rich/poor).
