Actually, I'm going to reserve judgment for the time being. Sure, Donnie Darko is the kind of movie I wouldn't want to see anyone fuck with, but I am gonna give it a chance first. CJ, that angle sounds a bit iffy, given it is set 7 years after Donnie's death. Anyway, I'm going to go into this one a little skeptical, but I really hope this doesn't fail as it would cheapen the first movie.

It sounds like a typical B-movie sequel made to cash in on the name of a fairly successful movie.

Can't be any worse than the sequel/remake "Cruel Intentions 2"

Or "Hulk".

"Hulk" was a theatrical release and not a sequel or remake of anything, that's a completely irrelevant comparison. I could say it couldn't be any worse than "The Trial of Billy Jack," but that movie has nothing to do with the subject so who cares?
Also, "Hulk" had Jennifer Connelly in it, so by default it can't be completely awful.

The new one is a reboot and actually looks 100 times better then the one Ang Lee made.

The Incredible Hulk will kick ass! I don't know if it is a reboot as he is in South America (where he went after the 1st movie), he is already the Hulk, and people from his past want a piece of him. Also, nothing against Eric Bana (I heard Munich was good), but Edward Norton seems primed to knock this one out of the park.
