Well, I figured I would give you all an update. I am still in NC, and I should be back in PA on Saturday, but I am using my Mom's computer so I should still be able to post for the PPV.
My dad on the other hand died. He got pneumonia in his lungs, and they told me if he was a healthy man of twenty he would have a hard time fighting it off.
Let alone a Sixty year old man with cancer, so what can you do?
On the downside, he didn't have life insurance because he told us that the Army would take care of his burial since he was retired from the Army with 30 years of service.
They'll bury him in a miltary cemetary in NC, away from all of his relatives but my mother, or in Arlington but then we need money for transport.
All my dad wanted for him to be cremated and brought home, and that they won't pay for.
The cheapest place I could find down here to do it was 850.00 and I spent the last of my money getting down here to see him. Ty (Joel Frost) said he would help me out, but things still look grim.
My mother doesn't have any money until she starts getting dad's pension, and my sister doesn't work because she has two kids to take care of.
So I hate to say it, but I would see what my IWF family could do. I was thinking maybe if we all chipped in what we could? Maybe we could work this shit out, because I need help, I need it bad, and I hate to ask, but for my dad I will.
