With such sizzling foreplay, it's hard to believe it took Bill even this long to get married.

On one hand, they are part of the country despite the fact their representatives at Congress can't vote.
On the other hand, they don't pay taxes.

While residing in Puerto Rico, Puerto Ricans cannot vote in U.S. presidential elections, but they can vote in primaries. Puerto Ricans who become residents of a U.S. state can vote in presidential elections.
That makes no sense.

Just like people who turn 18 after a primary, can't vote in the primaries but can vote in an election.
It throws everything out of whack, and subtracts votes from candidates who should have them in the primaries, and gives votes to people who shouldn't have them because they shouldn't have got the nomination in the first place.

Did the Republicans have primaries slated for territories like Guam and PR?

GOP primaries mean nothing now. They've chosen their untrustworthy moderate to face to liberal machine.

I find it comforting that the Democrats can now subvert the will of the Puerto Ricans.

Exactly, they don't pay taxes, they have no fucking right to vote with the rest of this country. There are immigrants, and I know two of them, that don't have their green card YET...but they pay taxes so they are pretty safe....
Either way, They CAN'T VOTE! They pay taxes and can't vote. But the Ricans can Vote and not pay taxes?!?!?!
Who the fuck came up with this shit?

They can only vote in primaries, which means they can't elect the president. Only the presidential nominee.
I find that damned strange.
Incidentally?
Washington DC pays taxes, but they have no representative in Congress, nor do they have vote in Congress.

Ironic seeing as how Washington DC is the only real "territory" of the United States.... According to law, that I'm sure is re-written.. only DC is a taxable area of the country
