The fans exploded as the pyros hit, and the very first IWF Revolution was on the air. A quick recap of the week’s events was recounted from the return of the Ringmaster, to the forced last match and retirement of Crazy Bill, and of course that Anthony Jordan would be forced to work his way up the ladder.
Then came the final revelation of that Croc and the Ringmaster were allied against Donzig, and the IWF World Championship hung in the balance. Then the place erupts as Anthony Jordan is announced, being forced by the Ringmaster to open the show.
Chris Cross complains that this is poor treatment of a former champion, and a man who was until the Ringmaster screwed him over the highest paid superstar in wrestling history!
Ventura says that AJ deserves it for maligning the Ringmaster’s good name, and that of his son!
‘Timmy Draven?’ asks Cross.
To which Ventura replies with a laugh, ‘No, Croc.’
AJ climbs into the ring, clearly annoyed as he paced back and forth ignoring the cheering crowd. He frowns, looking towards the back as the ring announcer names his opponent.
‘And his opponent hailing from Alaska, he is Kodiak Jones!’
The fans seem confused, and AJ shakes his head in frustration as Jackyl’s classic song ‘Lumberjack’ explodes across the arena as Kodiak Jones stalks from the back. He is a big man with a thick black beard, clad in a ragged red and black flannel and jeans. He storms back and forth across the ramp, yelling at the fans before he spits out what seems to be a wad of chew.
Then he climbs into the ring, throwing the flannel aside before his hairy form stalks forward to menace an oddly quiet Jordan.
The ref calls for the bell, and Jones threw a huge right at AJ which knocked the Role Model back. It was followed by another, then another, and then Jones went for a grapple. AJ grabbed his wrist, twisting it behind the big hairy beast of a man before he dropped a sudden elbow on the extended limb!
The fans cheered, and Jones nearly fell as AJ tightened the hold further before Jones grabbed the ropes. The ref called for the hold to be broken, and Anthony Jordan drew back with a shake of his head. Kodiak roared, coming off the ropes to lunge at the Role Model! But AJ caught him with the Jordan Neckbreaker from nowhere, and Jones dropped to the mat.
He shook his head in disgust as Kodiak Jones tried to force himself up, and then Jordan grabbed him to lock on the Idolizer as the fans went nuts! He pulled back on Jones, jerking on his legs as the big man from Alaska was nearly bent in half! And he finally tapped out, AJ broke the hold nodding as the ref grabbed for his wrist.
And suddenly? ‘Live Forever’ filled the arena, and the Ringmaster stepped from the back. ‘No! No! No! Anthony Jordan is disqualified as the referee failed to check him for foreign objects before the match began! This match is null and void!’
Anthony Jordan blinked, looking as though he had been slapped as the fans booed. The Ringmaster smirked, and headed for the back as the ref shrugged helplessly as Jordan yelled at him.
‘This is an outrage! Anthony Jordan was just robbed from winning the first ever match on Revolution by the Ringmaster!’ Cross yelled.
Ventura laughed. ‘Well, Cross, at least Kodiak Jones can be happy!’
We cut to commercial, and return to see Croc laughing at AJ’s plight with the Ringmaster. And then he frowns, looking to the IWF owner. ‘We need to talk about the Main Event.’
The Ringmaster nodded, and then the door to the office slams shut on the camera.
Back in the Arena, Johnny London was in the ring. And Ventura told Cross, that London’s days as the premiere jobber in CWA could be numbered since Kodiak Jones had wrestled Anthony Jordan to a draw!
Cross told Ventura he was sick, and the fans cheered as ‘The Big Ego’ rang out, and MJW made his way to the ring. He rolled inside, walking back and forth with a smirk cast at Johnny London before ‘Praise’ rang out!
And Crazy Bill was heading for the ring as the fans cheered, and he climbed inside with a glance at the pair before he called for the bell.
MJW charged in, hammering away at his opponent before he threw London hard into the ropes to level him with a clothesline on the rebound. London tried to get up, but MJW caught him with a few swift kicks to the ribs before Bill tried to pull MJW off. MJW nearly pushed Bill, shaking his head before he turned back to London who hit MJW with a drop toe hold!
MJW fell, and was caught with a Shining Wizard as he rose. He fell again, and London went for the kill only to be rolled up in a small package for a quick two count from Crazy Bill!
MJW swore at Bill, holding up three fingers as Bill shook his head. He rose, and London again moved forward though his superkick was dodged by the British Hero who wasted no time in planting the resident jobber with a MKO!
The fans exploded, and MJW went for the pin. Bill watched for a minute then dove, counting the three before he rose to his feet. The fans cheered, and MJW’s hand was held up before he pulled away. Crazy Bill pointed at him, nodding with approval as he walked along the ropes.
And then MJW charged forward, clearly looking to plant a low blow on Bill! The guest referee turned at the last minute, eyes narrowed on MJW who rose with his hands up before him. Bill frowned, then threw a stiff punch at MJW before driving him to the mat with a brutal DDT!
The fans exploded, and Bill stared down at his New Beginnings opponent with a shake of his head before he slid from the ring.
The show then cuts to the back where Chris James is shown talking to the Ringmaster, grinning as he rubbed his hands together. ‘So we have a deal, you’ll make me that match.’
The Ringmaster nodded slowly, then he tapped his fingers against his desk as he leaned forward. ‘You just remember, if anything happens to Croc tonight because of you? And you will wish you were Anthony Jordan.’
We cut back to commercial then, returning with a quick video promo of Barabbas before we see Cross and Ventura. Cross frowns, shaking his head. ‘This is sick! I can’t announce this!’
‘Fine, I’ll do it, Cross! Next week on Revolution, Chris James will face Amanda Chase in singles competition! And by order of Mr. Harris, Team Perfection will be banned from ringside!’
The fans booed, at this announcement and Ventura muttered. ‘Serves her right, woman’s place is in the kitchen!’
Cross sighed, sounding annoyed ‘Also Shamus will debut against the man who defeated Anthony Jordan, Kodiak Jones! What a fucking joke!’
Then the crowd fell silent as a frowning Alexis Morningstar led Team Perfection to the ring, the fans cheered even as Amanda Chase looked quite distraught over her match for the next week.
Then ‘Live Forever’ hit, and the Ringmaster walked out shaking his head. ‘Hold it! I want those two to hit the back, or you will be missing your chance to taste the gold of the TV Title!’
The fans booed, and Morningstar fumed before he spoke a few words to Joey who led Amanda Chase into the back under the watching gaze of the chuckling Ringmaster.
And then the fans exploded as ‘Determined’ hit, and the smirk was wiped off the Ringmaster’s face as Donzig stalked from the back adjusting the tape around his fists with a glare at the IWF owner. And then he shrugged, flexing his fingers before he headed down the ramp to join Morningstar in the ring.
He stormed back and forth, scowling as ‘The Chris James remix’ hit, and CJ walked from the back with a smile at the Ringmaster. He posed on the ramp, but was then tackled by the enraged Morningstar who wasted no time in driving James head first into the ring barrier! The fans cheered wildly as the fallen CJ was kicked by the angry Morningstar before ‘Breakstuff’ hit.
Croc barreled down the ramp, pulling Morningstar off to level him with a few punches before he caught him with a sudden suplex that left him sprawling on the ramp! The fans booed, and Croc smirked as CJ dove across his opponent to choke him.
Then all hell broke loose, and the fans cheering as Croc dodged the oncoming Donzig who leveled CJ with a boot to the head! The place erupted as Donzig and Croc faced off then, hammering away at each other before Croc finally threw Donzig towards the ring. Donzig slammed into it, falling forward before Croc drew him up to throw him into the ring.
Croc climbed inside, and outside Chris James and Morningstar continued to battle back and forth. Croc threw Donzig into the ropes, missing on the rebound before he cut Donzig with a huge clothesline! The fans booed, and Croc leaned over the downed American Destroyer to mock his foe!
The fans booed, and Croc crouched as he waited for Donzig to rise. Then he went for the Crockick, Donzig caught his foot to lock on the ankle lock! Croc fell, clawing for the ropes as Donzig dragged him back towards the middle of the ring. Chris James dove inside though, chopblocking Donzig! The hold was broken, and Donzig fell to the mat as Croc crawled to the ropes to pull himself up!
The fans booed, as Chris James dragged Donzig to his feet to catch him across the chest with chop after chop! He was rocked backwards, falling against the ropes before CJ caught him with a sudden snap suplex!
Donzig sprawled, looking dazed as CJ went for the quick pin!
1…2…
And Morningstar pulled him off, punching CJ a few times before throwing him into the corner. Croc was on his feet then, attacking Alexis once more as Donzig finally made it to his corner.
The fans were cheering as Morningstar dodged a clothesline from Croc, catching him with a spinning heel kick to his head. Croc staggered, and Morningstar made the tag to Donzig.
Donzig came inside, and he and Croc locked up. They shoved back and forth as the fans cheered, and then Donzig was pushed against the ropes. The ref called for the break, and Croc caught Donzig with a quick elbow to the face. Donzig staggered, and Croc hit him again. Donzig fell back, shaking his head before he blocked Croc’s next punch.
Then he started to drop big right hands on him, hammering away at him before he threw him into the ropes. Croc was leveled with a huge spinebuster, and the fans cheered as Donzig went for the pin.
1, 2….
And Croc kicked out, Donzig swore shaking his head as he rose. Pulling Croc upwards before he caught him with a double arm DDT! The place erupted, and Donzig went again for the cover!
1…2…
And CJ jerked Donzig to the outside, throwing a few stiff punches before he twisted Donzig around to throw him towards the stairs. Donzig hit the stairs, falling forward in a heap as the fans booed as CJ posed over him.
Then Croc was in the ring, hammering away at Morningstar before he suddenly caught him with the Death Roll from nowhere! The place exploded, and Croc made the pin as the fans cheered!
1…2….
And then the pin was broken when a chair was smashed across Croc’s back, and Anthony Jordan tossed the chair aside as the fans roared. Croc stumbled to his feet, shaking his head as the ref called for the bell. AJ flashed his goofy grin, rolling to the outside to run up the ramp!
Chris James hit the ring, nailing the rising Morningstar with a huge Final Spotlight! Morningstar fell, and the fans jeered as the Siege of the Future posed over him. Croc was heading for the ropes, but was caught with another wicked chairshot from the outside!
He stumbled back, falling over as Donzig moved between the ropes. He threw the chair aside, grabbing for Croc as the Ringmaster pulled him to the outside. Donzig fumed, then he grabbed Chris James who was hammered away with a few big rights. Chris James fell back, shaking his head before he was caught with a sudden facebuster!
The place erupted, and Donzig fumed before he pulled CJ back to his feet to lift him over his shoulder. Then he smiled at Croc and the Ringmaster, standing near the turnbuckle before he dropped Chris James onto it with a brutal looking brainbuster!
The Siege of the Future fell to the outside in a heap, and Donzig climbed the turnbuckle to stand with his arms spread wide as Morningstar rose as well. And they watched Croc and the Ringmaster head up the ramp, Croc motioning to his waist as Revolution went off the air.
