RoleModel4ever: They have never been true allies in their whole careers. This looks to be interesting. It is fresher than sticking AJ back with Donzig or MJW. He'd undermine Donzig's reign, and MJW has stated in interviews the he doesn't feel that he and AJ would be a long-term success as a duo.

OldSkoolin Your right about AJ/MJ. MJW is still set to eventually take his spot as the top guy, whilst AJ is clearly winding down his career in comedy sketches and all this 'climbing the ladder' bullshit. AJ would simply hold MJ back at this stage. Nice to see the IWF throw AJ a bone though and find him a spot

RoleModel4ever: I loved the Connection. Maybe it will come back, but let's not kid ourselves. Numerous reports credit AJ for their vignettes and T-shirts. He was the driving force.
As for now, AJ and MJ are on the same level. AJ fought a jobber at the PPV, and so did MJ.
