In results from the sold out Revolution TV Event on May 5th :
In an exciting show opener, The Ringmaster made his intentions clear when he showed up during the match.
The IWF newcomer, Brock put on impressive showing against the veteren 'Role Model'. But Anthony Jordan was seemingly seconds away from victory when The Ringmaster announced that the match had a time limit, and that it had passed. Checking the stop clock and reading 6minutes 26seconds was an odd time limit, but the Ringmaster has the final say and this match ended without a clear winner.
The Ringmaster then announced that he had a vision, and that vision included a PPV match at Payback and a ladder! He informed Anthony Jordan and Brock that they would be facing each other in the PPV opening contest in a 'Labber to Success' match. 20 feet above the ring will be 2 contracts, one for each superstar. Brocks contract will provide him with an IWF TV Championship match and Anthony Jordans would allow him to Main Event a Revolution show going One on One with the Ringmaster himself!
The huge Tag Team match did not pass without a hiccup either. MJW had a tough job keeping things together but put in a commendable effort, unfortunately he failed to see the 'Aussie Icon' plant TV Champ, Wifebeater with a very low blow, Croc was taken out by Donzig but the TV champ was given no time to recover as Mikkey took advantage if the foul play and pinned him as MJW counted the 123.
The action did not stop there though, as Mikkey and Max Jewel went on the attack of the fallen TV Champ, his Urban Assult partner, IWF Champion Donzig hit the ring swinging a steel chair, in the confusion Mikkey and Jewel escaped unharmed, and it was The Ego that took the force of the steel. It was clear on the face of the American Destoryer that this was indeed an accident, whether MJW will see it the same way is another issue!
The fans then waited for the match between Shamus and Whitey Ford. After annoucing Shamus and waiting, the official decided to call out Whitey Ford. Unfortunately the same thing happened, nothing!
After repeated requests for their attendance the IWF-TRON light up and much to the amusement of the fans both Shamus and Ford were out cold in the back, not as a result of an attack, but as a result of one to many 'cold ones' as the empty cans and bottles proved.
In the ring the referee was not in the same high spirits as the fans and had the time keeper ring the bell. The ref started the count and reached 10 for the match that never was.
The main event was for the IWF TV Championship, and after the events from earlier in the night it appeared that Mikkey may well have had Wifebeaters number. However, things did not start well for Mikkey as he came down to ringside alone, it appeared as though Max Jewel was not going to be attending.
The TV champ took full advantage of the one on one situation and the fans were treated to a great match.
In the end it appeared that Mikkeys concerns over his managers whereabouts were to much of a distraction and the TV Champ picked up the pinfal and successfully retained his gold.
After the match Donzig hit the stage and drew everyones attention to the IWF-TRON once again. What we saw was a fork-lift lorry parked up against the door to Mikkey and Max Jewels lockeroom. Banging from the inside could be heard as Donzig laughed and informed everyone that all he knows is that either Shamus or Whitey Ford had the key to the fork lift, and he was pretty sure he saw one of them eat it!
