- Donzig has had a family emergency that has required him to fly back to the States. While his status for Payback is currently not in jeopardy, his title reign may be. Some fear Donzig might have to leave the product for an undisclosed amount of time, which would mean he'd need to drop the World Title. Croc would be the favorite to win it as IWF wants to delay MJW's eventual main event run.
- Kid Kaos is slowly winning over his critics in the company, which is in no doubt credit to his friendship with Anthony Jordan. Jordan played a major role in bringing Kaos back and was also an important part of Kaos' training. With Whitey Ford's status uncertain, Jordan wanted another USCW wrestler to bring some legitimacy to his semi-stable. His first choice was Ripper, but he said he was too busy to commit to IWF right now. Jordan then asked his old friend to show up and keep Whitey's spot warm for him while he healed. However, Kaos seems to be getting back into wrestling and may slide into a more long-term role.
- The IWF Tag Team Titles won't be defended regularly (like almost all tag team titles in wrestling), but will be used to spice up feuds and hype big shows. MJW and Mr. International were a surprise to win, but Donzig's recent issues made an Urban Assault victory too risky. Depending on where his angle goes with the Ringmaster, Anthony Jordan could take over for Mr. International and be a tag team champion with MJW. However, neither AJ nor MJW is big on the idea because they feel the Connection is best when it is unofficial and spontaneous. Plus with Jordan's USCW angle and MJW's more loner aspect, the team doesn't make sense. Whitey Ford or Kid Kaos may replace MJW as tag team champ. It could be a one-on-one match for spot on the team coupled with Mr. International forfeiting his match against Anthony Jordan. It picture is still quite murky.
- Jake Seven's return hasn't gone as smoothly as many would have wanted it to go, but he is slowly being welcomed back to IWF. The general feeling is that Seven would be a good fixture in the midcard with potential jumps into the main event when needed. Seven seems comfortable with that role and has no desires to headline any time soon.
- A potential card for a house show in Paris has been released. It is for a June 24 show, which would be days before the June PPV (name to be determined, but the BWA/CWA holdover of Revenge could be used). This could be the card for the PPV:
