There are no rules or limitations, except for the fact that it has to be a feature full length film, no less than 80 minutes in length. There is no time line or genre, except porn restriction.
I want nominations and thoughts, and possibly fun-filled, unhateful arguments, over the following topics:
Best line or verse in any movie?
Best fight scene in any movie?
Best love scene in any movie?
Most colorful scene?
Darkest (dramatic, not light wise) scene?
Best use of swear words in a scene?
Best car ride scene?
Scariest scene?
Best use of music?
Best Death scene?
Biggest Twist?
Most lame/biggest letdown to a critical moment?
Funniest Moment?
Best use of retardation?
Best historically portrayed?
Best Ending?
Best Male Character?
Best Female Character?
Best Protagonist?
Best Antagonist/Villain?
Nominate your own topic if one you feel isnt listed, should be.

Why 80 minutes? Some great movies have been made that were shorter than that.
Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie The Ox-Bow Incident Dumbo (not my taste but still a classic) Duck Soup Bride of Frankenstein Frankenstein
And that's excluding actual short films. As someone who MAKES short films, excluding them is shitty and pointless.
And I tried making an official movie thread once, it doesn't pan out.

I excluded them because I'm not sure a lot of people here would follow the short film industry. I, for one, do not. Eliminating me from any form of discussion or debate about them.
You, Kyle, Dylan, and possibly Assassin?
And I don't consider anything less than 80 a "movie". An hour and twenty minutes, anything less is a tv show with no commercials.

No, I was just nominating it as a truly scary moment in film history.
Slasher films just don't have them. I was thinking more shock and awe.

You don't need to follow the "short film industry" to be able to talk about a short film you've seen and liked or thought was bad. And you don't consider anything less than 80 minutes a "movie"? Well at the risk of stating the obvious, you have shit for brains. I'd go into a whole rant about why your arbitrary hour and twenty minute minimum is idiotic and how the accepted minimum for something being feature length is HALF that, but just saying you have shit for brains takes up less of my time and is just as true. Anything that eliminates you from any form of discussion or debate is a GOOD thing. So, who wants to talk about Don Hertzfeldt shorts?

Not me.
I know who it is though. I just think his cartoons are stupid and widely over rated.
But thanks for sharing your opinions. You disagree. I'll put a check next your name.
Feel better?
