www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLnUcuy6078Comes out on DVD next Tuesday. I saw it a couple days ago and it was amazing. It was made using an old surrealist exercise called exquisite corpse. One person makes the first part of it then they hand it off to someone else who takes it in whatever direction they want without input from the others, and so on. This particular movie was made by three different filmmakers. One makes a standard horror movie, one makes a pitch black horror/comedy, one does kind of an artsy thriller. Personally, I liked the middle part the best because it highlights the best horror character since Ash Williams; Lewis fucking Denton. Perhaps through filmmaking error he came across a bit sympathetic instead of unlikeable in the first third of the movie and in the second part he is just a machine of awesome. It's a breakthrough performance from AJ Bowen and once this becomes a cult hit on DVD he's going to be huge in the contemporary horror circuit. It's a travesty that this movie didn't get a wide release, so at the very least rent this when it comes out.

I had a few chances to check this out in the theatre but then never got around to doing it. I know when it comes out on DVD I will most likely rent it and check it out.
