No, it's just pointless to argue with people believe Vince McMahon.

It's equally pointless, if not more so, to argue with people who refuse to believe something even when evidence points to it being true and then changes their point in a desperate attempt to still maybe be right.
"I've got sources, they say it's all a scam." "What sources?" "Pff. Like I'm telling YOU." "Hey, I know someone who won money from this thing" "Bah. Prove it!" "He went to get his check today. He has pictures." "Oh. Well there's probably TAXES! Man, I've been right all along."
That's you. That's what you sound like.

No, taxes was one form of what I said after that in "loopholes".

So taxes are a loophole?

To not giving someone money? yes.
You heard about the Oprah Winfrey thing right? When she gave away money?

People who think TAXES are a loophole are idiots and deserved to get scammed for real. You know you pay taxes on lottery winnings too, right? And paychecks, those too.

You didn't answer what I asked. And, you don't always have to pay taxes. So stop acting you know God (And no, don't respond with "Yeah well then you go to jail" because you don't.) I'm not saying paying taxes is the scam. Now, if you answer my question, then maybe you would know what I'm talking about, instead of trying to turn this around on me ..since.. that's not what I meant.

Your Oprah question? No, I don't watch Oprah. I leave that to housewives and you gays.
Anyways, I'm done. You're no less full of shit than you have been any other time you post something.

CJ's point has been that Vince hasn't really been giving the money away. I can prove that he has in , at least, one case.
Even though the winners are taxed, Vince still gave away $1 Million. The combined amount of money taken home by the winners won't be that much because winning money counts as earnings, and State and National government reserves to right to tax it.

Almost what I was getting to.
But it's clear Holtzy doesn't watch the news like heterosexual males either..
Since when Oprah gave away cars to everyone in attendance, she charged a luxury tax and if you didn't have it, you couldn't get the car.
I figured Vince would be pulling something like that. He can tell people they won it all they want.
I still want to know who the dumb fucks are, who left their phone unattended.

I watch the news I feel is pertinent. Oprah is not news. If she actually DOES something then sure. That school thing she started in wherever, Africa, sure. That's news-ish. "People on a TV show win stuff" isn't news. So usually if the news people are "reporting" about Oprah I turn on something else, same as when they report on any other celebrity I couldn't care less about.
And have I mentioned that CJ is an unjustifiably smug twat? You'd think someone wouldn't be full of themselves while obviously wrong, but there it is.

Oprah telling someone they won a car, then telling them they can't have it because they don't have the luxury tax to pay for it, isn't news? That would be like...some guy telling someone they won a lot of money because they watched his show...but they can't have the money because they can't pay the tax on it....You know.. a scam? "IF VINCE WAS LYING HE'D BE SUED FOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT"..
Yeah, and it happened to Oprah...just wait.
It's still a scam.
Until someone gets all their money, after taxes, and buys a house with it, or a down payment anyway..and a car..and maybe even a college education for their kids..
Then I'll believe you.
Not a minute sooner.
And, if he pulls the luxury tax loophole on an unsuspecting low income person, and tells them they can't have it because they can't afford it? Then it will prove not only was it a scam to watch the tv show, but, that he had no intention of doing anything except making the rich, richer.
Or, until I win.
Not that I've entered the last two weeks.

Can't they just pay the tax with the money they win?
I thought if you win like 300k then they take out like 100k for the tax and you only get 200k or something.
It's like some sort of percentage.

Not if it's a luxury tax, they need to have the money to pay the taxes before hand. It's a normal percentage tax, yes, they can. Like when my mom won 7,000.00..she took the taxes out and she ended up with like 4.5 K..or something.. I'm not sure how the luxury tax works exactly, but, I know for somethings especially give-a-aways, like this..you usually have to front the taxes first.

Oh, let him be. He's just sticking his fingers in his ears and kicking the dirt at this point. His "demands" (as if he's the one anybody has to prove anything to) are beyond ridiculous anyways. Eventually he's going to say "I won't believe one word of any of this until I get the check for the whole million, tax free." Then later cash in non-sequential bills.
