If that is the case then it sucks for all the people who are lower to middle class people who barely have food to pay their bills with but I wonder how long they actually have to pay it because I am sure they can just take out a loan. pay the luxury tax, then pay back the loan with the winnings.

No. If you're low-income, have fun even trying to get a loan. Unless you're 18 and never used a credit card, or bounced a check in your life. I'm speaking of this, from living it my entire life. Luxury taxes come with credit checks. You're not going to say "No, sorry, I don't have the money. WAIT! YES I DO!" People that use that loophole aren't that dumb. Again, just trust me, if theres a luxury tax, these people aren't getting the money. I won a car at the casino a few months ago, and they demand the 8 grand or what ever for the car up front before you can have it. I was extremely pissed. It's casino policy. And a Connecticut policy for anything over 25K. Guess where the WWE is based. I was going crazy, flipping and flailing, I WON A FUCKING CAR! yadda yadda... You don't have a time limit. You either have the thousands upon thousands of dollars, or you don't. It doesn't just magically appear, and if it does, it raises questions. |

Again, all this coverage was on NBC. Today Show is NBC. I thought I mentioned this four pages ago? of course they're going to hype up Vince McMahon and his give away, and these contestants who won. Bring them on the show, interview them, huzzah huzzah..
