(The show comes back from a commercial break with the Aussie Icon already standing in the ring. “Breakstuff” by Limp Bizkit is still playing throughout the arena and the sound of boos echoing through the arena is instantly heard from the home viewers coming back from the break. Croc is out in the ring alone and is dressed in jeans and a white shirt. His sunglasses are hanging from the chain around his neck)
(CROC)
Ladies and gentlemen, most of you are probably wondering why I have decided to make your night by coming out here and gracing you all with my god-like presence.
(Crowd responds with loud boos)
(CROC)
Well the answer is quite simple… Now in this business, there are many people who hide behind smoke screens filled with lie upon lie. People will not hesitate to smile and shake someone’s hand before stabbing them in the back in order to achieve their own agenda.
(CROSS)
I think Croc has perfected the back stab
(VENTURA)
One day I am going to tell Croc all the nasty things you say about him on air.
(CROSS)
You already do tell him.
(VENTURA)
Well one day I am going to stop protecting you from Croc coming down here and beating you up.
(CROSS)
You don’t protect me… You offered to punch me in the face last week when you ran into Croc backstage.
(CROC)
Well I am a man of not only great intelligence, charisma, astonishing talent and not to mention a level of natural talent that is unmatched in this business… But besides all that, I am a man of great dignity and respect for my fellow man.
(CROSS)
*cough*
(VENTURA)
What’s wrong?
(CROSS)
I am sorry I nearly choked on my water when I heard Croc say he had dignity and respect
(CROC)
So being such a great individual, I am out here to signal my intentions and put everything on the table before International Incident.
(Croc paces around the ring. He takes a deep breath)
(CROC)
Now before the Ringmaster came out and announced that I would be the special guest referee for the IWF World Heavyweight Championship match at International Incident, he came to me and confided that he needed someone to allow his business to grow. To allow the IWF to grow, he needed a champion who he could take to the mainstream media and market as a great champion of our company. He was unable to do so with Donzig as champion. Now the reason, and the only reason, Donzig was champion was because of blatant incompetence by IWF referee’s and what had to be out and out corruption fuelled by professional jealousy towards your truly.
(Loud boos for Croc’s so called conspiracy)
(CROC)
So with MJW becoming number 1 contender and a new member of the Faction, Ringmaster had another chance to have a champion that he could be proud of. However, Ringmaster was wary of the incompetence of ALL the IWF referees… So he came to me and asked me to be the referee and help bring home the title.
(Loud boos)
(CROC)
Now I have been under extreme pressure to ensure that MJW walks out of International Incident with the gold. I have publicly declared that I would do so and also have been pressure put on my by the Ringmaster. Now if I step back and look at it, it would actually benefit me more to have Donzig walk out of International Incident as champion as I am more likely going to be granted a title match against him than I would against MJW, as fighting MJW would cause internal conflict within the Faction.
(Croc puts his hand through his hair)
(CROC)
So with that being said, and you all know that I do love the gold…
(CROSS)
Oh no, Ringmaster is not going to be happy with Croc if he says what I think he is going to say
(CROC)
I am out here to clear my conscious and say that I will be calling the match right down the middle.
(A loud, surprising, pop from the crowd)
(CROC)
And by that mean I will be doing everything in my power to ensure that justice and fairness is restored and that involves ensuring that my pal MJ reclaims the title!
(The pop turns quickly back to boos)
(CROC)
That’s right Donzig, I am here to tell you right now that I am going to cost you the title. I will myself ensure that MJW walks out of International Incident the champion and your dreams of being a long reigning champion here are dashed. Why? Because you make me sick and that title belongs within the ranks of the Faction…
(The camera zooms in on Croc’s face)
(CROC)
Take a look at this face Donzig, because this is the face you will forever know as the face responsible for the greatest loss of your career… I swear by whatever god there is that my hand will not raise your hand in triumph and will not count a pinfall to allow you to be triumphant.
(Suddenly Croc is interrupted)
