So its been a while since any hot rumors spread throughout the IWF, so now its time to lay a few down.
Jake Seven has been in talks with IWF Management about being pushed to the very top, but the talks have gotten him nowhere. Apparently Management feel that Seven can no longer get over as an active wrestler, and it looks like his match with Anthony Jordan will be his last.
In relation to the PPV match, it looks like Anthony Jordan will be walking out with the win, putting an end to his feud with the Ringmaster by pinning the owners 'muscle', Jake Seven.
What will happen to Seven? Its unclear, but do not expect to see him in the ring with his boots laced up, and the idea of him becoming a full time General Manager has been pretty much squashed!
The Ringmaster has been keeping an eye on John Gone, if he can show he has something to offer at International Incident then he is one superstar who will definately be getting a push to greater things.
The overall feeling is that the 4 men involved in the TV Championship chase have not lived up to the potential they have. This 4 way could have possibly had a chance of steeling the show. The effort has been there, but just not enough. Although Shamus has suprised some of those with power in the IWF and he could walk out with his first piece of IWF gold.
Now, the big one! Can Donzig walk out with the IWF World Championship? The short answer is YES! The long answer is that there are almost no plans to take the belt from Donzig. He is tight with management and is proven as carrying main events and is a firm fan favorite and his star does not appear to be in danger of lossing its shine. Donzig is set to be World Champion into the later stages of 2008.
What does this mean for MJW, Croc and The Faction? Well they are heels and unlike the WWE, the IWF likes to see a heel chasing the title whilst the face holds the belt and defeats the odds. Croc will be stepping back even further and taking the roll as 'Advisor' to MJW. Croc will only wrestle when defending the IWF Tag Team titles.
MJW will stay in the main events, trying to grab the World title at every oppertunity. When not fighting for the belt against Donzig you can expect to see MJW mowing down anyone else who is put in front of him so as to keep his status and heat, whilst likely lossing to Donzig!
