If Yeh Ren wins now then it could end the feud and use this match as the blowoff, but could still keep it going if they decided to. If Gone wins it wouldn't work as a proper blowoff and they'd have to keep it going. Yeh Ren winning at least gives them options.

How do you justify Anthony Jordan vs Jake Seven an opening match? They've been fantastic this week. Maybe you want the fans in attendance and the millions watching at home to fall asleep after their match.

It will be Jericho vs Angle esque.. I'm not sure the other matches can carry them. Perhaps Gone vs Yen, but I havent seen much of their in ring work to judge.
