Jake Seven, former CWA Television Champion, and current IWF General Manager is presumed dead after an automobile accident around midnight after the taping of Revolution. After pay per views, Revolution is pre taped and aired the following Monday night.
Initial reports have Jake Seven getting in his car after Revolution. He was seen smoking a blunt by a crew member at the arena, and traveling along a local highway when his car swerved off the road and flipped several times into the dirt path hundreds of yards below. The car exploded several moments later according to an eye witness account. A body has been recovered, but is it not confirmed or denied as the body of the former champion at the printing of this story.
Chapter Officer Andy Wind was at the scene and stated "We are investigating the matter at hand. This is a personal tragedy bestowing our town and the IWF at this time. We have recovered the license plate from the smoldering wreck, and it is confirmed that the car belonged to IWF talent Jacoby Peterson, who wrestled under the name Jake Seven."
