I'm too scared that Catwoman could lighten up the whole series, and I enjoy it being dark.
As for the Joker, he's stated in the comics that he lets himself get caught a few times just so he can go to Arkham and unwind.

I forgot Harvey Dent has three appearances, and four roles in the Batman series. He was played by Billy Dee Williams in 1989s Batman as most everyone knows, and he was mentioned in Batman Returns but not seen, and of course as a main villain in Forever and TDK...
Does that make him Batmans most prolific villain in the film franchise as Joker only has two appearances and everyone else one?

Along with finding out the above, check this out:
In 1989s Batman..
William Hootkins as Lt. Max Eckhart[/u]: A corrupt and powerful police detective in the Gotham City Police Department. [/i]
...Ridiculously odd.

Considering Dent was only a villain (as well as an important character) for two movies, I would rate the Joker considerably higher. Heath's and Jack's respective work trounces Tommy's and Aaron's respective work in the Batman franchise.

The Joker was also a villain in Mask of the Phantasm. Sure, it was animated, but it was a lot better than Returns, Forever, or And Robin.

This just dawned on me
Remember how Nolan said the title of the movie had significance? I assumed it had to do with the connection to Dent's line of "The night is always darkest before the dawn." Let alone the obvious nickname of Batman..
..and it JUST hit me.
The Joker turned Gotham's White Knight, into his own Dark Knight.
Was Harvey Dent/Two Face, what the title was actually about?
This movie keeps drawing me in to thinking about different things..
